Patch: Various Ambushes throughout Dura have changed. 
Many new Ambushes have been added to Dura.
- Spears now cost 15 gold instead of 10 gold.
- Spears while still being sold from all previous NPCs who sold them, will also now be sold by all Paladin Guild NPCs.
- - - Dev Note: Thais::Galuna,NotElane Carlin::PeracShouldSell
- Elite Monsters of Behemoth, Demon, Dragon Lord, Efreet, Marid, Warlock will now have new Elite Spells.

Bugs:
- A rare bug with behemoth and stone golem loot has been fixed.
- A typo with NPC Fiora fixed.
- A bug where bears, wolves, deer, and other criters not dropping loot has been fixed.
- *Note: None of these bugs prevented mysteriando/questing.*

Patch: Players can now force logout while in-combat without closing the client. (Characters will still remain online until they are timed out). This will be seen visually as 'Do you want to exit to the main menu?'
- Improved UI/backpack saving system.
- From now on Clone creatures won't cast elite spells anymore.
- Fist fighting death penalty loss has been reduced to match the rest of the skills death penalty.
- The spell book has been completely reworked. Use it to see.
- Previously in Dura when a monster flees it stops melee attacking you. This was never intended. This has been fixed. Now when a monster flees it will keep attacking you if you are within melee range.

- Fairouz's Arena Quest will now always be cleaned via map wipe for every new team that enters. Otherwise the visual clarity was spoiled and it made the quest slightly more disorienting.
- The game world save feature happening through white message every six hours has been deactivated.
- You can now throw items into the Delta Quest's whirlpool.
- For a large amount of the monsters in the game, somewhere between 10 and 40%, they will now drop deteriorating backpacks as their containers instead of bags.
- Corpse inventory size has been increased for every monster in the game.
- The Rewards Chest for the Pharaoh's Weapons Quest require level 99 now.

- Loot Hoards (Spillage)
- Items will now spill in the game. This means you can receive more then just a single item if the chances for it dropping are above 100%. You will notice this especially for example when it comes to elite or legendary monsters, or during events, or gold, or food, or runes, or rings, or amulets, etc. If you're seeing more of the same item in a single corpse than you're used to — that's working as intended. But use judgement and ask questions if you feel something is wrong.

- Gold Riches (Stacking)
- - - In tandem with Loot Spillage, monsters who have great quantities of gold -- they will now often carry with them platinum instead of more gold, and crystal instead of more platinum. Large amounts of coins are now automatically stacked into higher-value coins inside the corpse.
- - - The number needs to be very high for this to occur.

- Heroic Loot
- - - Heroic loot no longer appears in a separate backpack. All loot — including heroic bonuses — is now in one corpse, one backpack. If you don't see a second backpack inside the corpse, that's correct.
- - - A bug with Heroism has been fixed, it sometimes caused more loot to drop than intended. This bug was very similar to the one that undermined the integrity of Valor's loot.

- The minimum Fireball and Great Fireball damage on MULTIPLE TARGETS has been raised. Previously it was possible at low levels these spells could do as little as 1 damage when hitting a great many targets. Each spell will now do a minimum of 9 and 18 damage respectively no matter how many targets are hit. 
- - - Let it be noted that previously and still currently if you're hitting only one target the minimum damage is 18 and 36 respectively.


## Bugs:
- Fixed Safe-Trading deleting items when one of the recipients had no space left in their inventory.
- Fixed the Creature Illusion spell appearance effect lasting indefinitely.
- Fixed Game Store lagging the game during it's first load. 
- Client has had various UI fixes.
- Fixed VIP list updates lagging the game.
- Fixed various map bugs.

- Fixed experience quest in Kha'zeel mountain.
- Bug with Crypt Shambler fixed in an Ankrahmun Tomb.
- There was a bug  in the Parrot Tomb. When you threw a bag or an item down the hole and then went in yourself after and landed in the underground moat the bag/item would not be in the same place you are. This has been fixed.
- Yahya's Caravan should be fully fixed and working now.
 slight improvements to the blessing dialogue of the blessing in PCs has occurred.
- superficial bugs with the NPC prisoner have been fixed.

- Various bugs with NPC Ulama and his Quest has have been fixed.
- Any bug concerning entering the Secret Library at the Djinn Libraries should be fixed.
- Buying spells from Guild Spell NPCS should be largely improved.
- A bug with exchanging runes to knives regarding capacity has been fixed.
- Dreadseers will now drop bowls of blood and not bowls of beer.
- Fixed the top two Ankrahmun's depot lockers being disconnected from the rest of Ankrahmun's depot system

You must use the Dura Launcher today to receive the Patch. To note going forward it is Ideal that every day (and really every time) you Play Dura you should use the Launcher. The reason is it will always ensure you are up to date without complications.

We are currently in the process of fixing a long standing bug of certain types of items not...

We are currently in the process of fixing a long standing bug of certain types of items not being moveable in doors to owned houses by non-owners/guests. We have effectively solved it. We don't know when we will patch it but it is coming; at a minimum it will not happen until Tuesday the 20th Server Save. Please start removing and not ever placing anything in a doorway you are not comfortable with a player walking by and taking.

Lifesteal


From the sands of the desert, down into it's lost tombs,
up unto the forests of the north all players become endowed
with the powers of taking life.


 

The event, Lifesteal, will occur from Thursday May 14th Server Save to Monday May 18th Server Save.

u For every 5 damage a Player deals to a Creature he will receive 1 HP. This means you have 20% Lifesteal.
u It will also work against summons.

As well, the following will occur though it will not stack:
u If an attack does 90 damage or more the Player will receive an extra 3 HP.
u If an attack does 120 damage or more the Player will receive an extra 6 HP.
u If an attack does 150 damage or more the Player will receive an extra 9 HP.
u If an attack does 180 damage or more the Player will receive an extra 12 HP.
u If an attack does 220 damage or more the Player will receive an extra 16 HP.
u If an attack does 260 damage or more the Player will receive an extra 20 HP.
u If an attack does 300 damage or more the Player will receive an extra 25 HP.

Buds begin small and wary but soon transform into an explosion of green, their tendrils unfurling with the promise of a new layer and memory to the land. Flowers blanket the meadows in colored troves, and the air is heavy with the scent of renewal. Amidst this rebirth, the guardians of the grove stand vigilant, their eyes focused and their senses attuned to the pulsing vitality that travels through root and bough. At the center of an ancient forest, where the trees arch high like the vaults of a branched cathedral, a sage druid communes with the the heart of the earth itself. His hands, marked with the verdant sigils of old, channel the burgeoning power that surges with every passing moment. For in this season, when life returns in its fullest, the earth itself seems more powerful than the sun or the waters or the skies. It is a time heralding growth and boundless potential. It is the Season of Nature.


 

The event, Season of Nature, will occur from Thursday April 30th Server Save to Monday May 4th Server Save.

 

u During this event all earth damage that is dealt from monsters to players is increased by 15%.
u During this event all earth damage that is dealt by players to monsters is increased by 15%.
u Player earth damage will not increase against other players.
u Monsters whose core elemental identity is earth will reward bonus experience and loot. These monsters are Slime Ooze, Giant Spider, Ancient Scarab, Dwarf Geomancer, Slime, Scarab, Cobra, Elf Scout, Larva, Elf, Swamp Troll, Wasp, Poison Spider, Bug, Spider, and Snake.
u Bonus experience for the above will be 7%.
u Bonus loot for the above will be 7%.

Spring Festival of Elves

In the center of the verdant woodlands, the time has come to celebrate the Spring Festival of the elves. As winter's chill recedes, the earth reawakens with a slow and quiet symphony of new life, signaling an end to the season of slumber. Flowers unfurl their petals in a kaleidoscope of colors, and the forest canopy is dappled with the fresh green of new leaves. This festival heralds the rebirth of the land, a time when nature's abundance is embraced and cherished. The elves, guardians of the natural world, extend their invitation to all beings to partake in the revelry, sharing in the joy and abundance of the season. It's a time of harmony and renewal, where the promise of the coming year is celebrated under the canopy of an awakening world.

 

From April 10th Friday to April 17th Friday the Spring Festival of the Elves will be active.

During that time a festival will be held in the Ab'dendriel gardens, full of wine and music. There will be tables of feast and upon eating from that table you will become empowered from it's delicious wholesomeness. The status you gain will be random from a buffet of possibilities and will last two to three hours from the time you eat; you must figure out what empowerment the eating of the feast gives you; you will not know when the status expires via a notification, you must realize it yourself. You may eat from the table of feast three times each day, but you may only eat after the current status has worn off.

Season of Ice

In the depths of winter, the world transforms into an icy foeland. Lakes freeze solid, their surfaces resembling polished mirrors; pines stand like sentinels, hooded, stern and silent; frost meets you every morning. It is a still and covered world, everything a little harder to get to, a little harder to open. As one treks through the snow-covered forest, the air bites at his cheeks and each breath turns to mist. Soldiering on, each step carries the weight of a foot and a half of snow, an opening emerges out from the snow-laden trees and the snow bank of a small lake confronts you. Across the way a small hamlet of no more than four to five houses sit on the lake's edge at the other side, some emitting the smothered glow of fires inside. In sigh men are at work with their burdens of beast at the edge as well as up into the mountainside behind the hamlet in the forest. No time of the year is more quiet, ice and snow covers all over and seals one's lips. It is the Season of Ice.





The event, Season of Ice, will occur from Thursday February 12th Server Save to Monday February 16th Server Save.

 

u During this event all ice damage that is dealt from monsters to players is increased by 15%.
u During this event all ice damage that is dealt by players to monsters is increased by 15%.
u Player ice damage will not increase against other players.
u Monsters whose core elemental identity is ice will reward bonus experience and loot. These monsters are Dreadseer, Banshee, Vampire, Ghost, Polar Bear, Frost Troll, Winter Wolf, and Badger.
u Bonus experience for the above will be 7%.
u Bonus loot for the above will be 7%.
